Edgewater Homes is a collaboration of the talents of brother and sister team Brad Smith and Trisha Bowley, Florida natives, raised in the quaint Gulf coast town of Englewood, Florida.
After graduating from college, Brad moved back to Englewood and began working for G. Patrick Bourgeois & Associates Inc., a local General Contractor with over 30 years of building experience.
Trisha enjoyed a career in interior design in Orlando, and eventually moved her family back to Englewood after working on a joint commercial project with Brad and Pat.
It was then they decided to form a new company bringing fresh home designs and style to the market.
G. Patrick Bourgeois & Associates Inc. is an established General Contractor with over 30 years of building experience.
Pat and his wife, Joan, also Florida natives, have been building in the Englewood, Florida area since 1990 and Pat has held his contractor’s license since 1974.
Pat is a published writer, whose textbook is still used to teach the Construction business to University students across the state of Florida.
He served as Brad’s mentor, teaching him everything he knows about the construction industry. G. Patrick Bourgeois & Associates Inc. is now managed by Edgewater Homes, although Pat and Joan are still involved in the operations. Both companies operate out of the same location in Rotonda West, Florida.
